Responsibility

WALT: write about what responsibility means to us in different places

Responsibility is being honest, accepting consequences for our actions and being a confident leader. Being responsible when you are young can set you up to be responsible as you become older. Responsibility is important because people can rely on each other and be honest, which helps everybody with positivity. What does responsibility look like? Responsibility looks like accepting consequences, being a role model, taking responsibility  of your actions. You could clean up after yourself, cooking for family and just help out around the house. What about you, what does responsibility look like and feel like to you?

Maori Gods

WALT: create a quality blog post for an online audience, using correct sentence punctuation.

On Wednesday, Huia whanau learnt about different Maori gods. We lined up all the gods and named their feelings.

Yellow
Rongo-ma-tane - peace and happy.

Orange
Maui - cheeky and hoha.

Purple
Ruaumoko - annoyed and frustrated.

Red
Tumatauenga - angry and fuming.

Light blue
Tawhirimatea - no control and is lost.

Dark blue
Tangaroa - do over and likes to start again.

Miss Fleet asked us questions like; " How do you feel about swimming?" and " How do you feel about maths?" then we lined up behind the emotion you felt about the topic.

What god do you feel like right now?

What does respect look like to you?

Walt: create a quality blog post for an online audience, using correct sentence punctuation.

What does respect mean to you?

Respect should be an important role for everyone. Respect is when you care for someone, use kindness and respect others property.

In our class we respect our Chromebooks by carrying them properly and walking with them, so they don't damage them.

Respect looks like listening to others, following instructions that have been told and using your manners at school or yours/others houses. For example, please and thank you when someone does something nice for you.
