Today, I read chapter 3. Chapter 3 is about a 12 year old Syrian boy called Mahmoud. Mahmoud always wore a hood over his face so he would be noticed by anyone, he wanted to be invisible. Mahmoud's younger brother does not show any emotion Mahmoud has not seen him laugh or cry in a while. While walking home from school they see a boy with a bag of bread being pushed against a wall by some older kids. Mamoud felt he should help him but turned around and went another route home.
Today we had to make a country study on Syria. Syria is a interesting place, I would like to try there delicious looking food. What is something interesting that you know about Syria?
